Jakob Kukula is a multidisciplinary creator, working in the fields of art, design and music.
Born and raised in Berlin, he is life-long influenced by the city's thriving scenes.
After finishing his product design studies at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, that included abroad experiences at the Pratt Institute, NY and working with Studio Drift in Amsterdam, he returned to Berlin where he worked two years for Studio Olafur Eliasson and finished his Master Thesis at KHB Weißensee.
Currently he explores a Planet-Centeric Design practice, questioning the relationship between humans and nature trying to find ways to reconnect and suggest ideas for a social and planetary transformation:
"Currently I am searching for, and participating into healing practices. How can art and design heal us? Healing the self, healing society, and the planet / nature. By creating strong narratives through art, and using design strategies / methods / techniques we can build regenerative structures and find solutions, that will transform our current state into a more planet-centric one."
As a founder of the art collective and platform ROH, there is a constant, diverse and play full output,
that explores the borders between different media by creating interactive installations, visual arts and music.
